At St. Boniface, a great way to build community and encounter Christ is through our Mass Ministry. Our Mass ministers are an integral part of the weekend Mass experience and essential to our parish life!
If you are interested in serving the parish as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, Usher, Greeter, Lector, or Altar Server, please contact Sara Krohnke at [email protected] for more information, OR submit your interest below.

The "Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion" (EMHC) OR Eucharistic Minister are called upon to assist the Priest Celebrant in the distribution of Holy Communion. Please click HERE
"The lector is instituted to proclaim the readings from Sacred Scripture, with the exception of the Gospel. He may also announce the intentions for the Universal Prayer, and in the absence of a psalmist, recite the Psalm between the readings." (GIRM 88)
Lectors are to proclaim the Word at Mass. Our parish community usually requires two lectors for each Mass. As preparation for Lectors, they will be invited to meditate on the Readings of the Day before serving. Please click HERE
The "Ushers" are the ministers of hospitality at Mass/sacramental celebrations. They lead the faithful to their seats, remain attentive to needs of the worshipping community, gather weekly tithing offering, guide Holy Communion line, and prepare the space for Mass. Please click HERE
Greeters are the face of hospitality. They welcome parishioners, guests, and faithful from the diocese to Mass. To be a greeter you simple need a smile, a loving and compassionate heart, and a welcoming spirit. Please click HERE
Being an Altar Sever is the greatest joy. To enter this ministry, we encourage youth from 4th grader and up to register for training and to serve at Mass. The Mass Ministry provides training twice a year for Altar Servers. Please click HERE
