The Creed isn’t just a list of things we believe—it’s the solid foundation for how we live, pray, and think as Catholics. Catholic Foundations: Asking Questions Built Upon the Creed, is a new parish Q&A forum that will be customized to your questions!

What can I expect?
Together we will: 

• learn how to build our questions and answers on the sure ground of the faith we profess each Sunday
• explore how the Creed gives shape to life’s questions—and how those same questions become more personal and alive when we ask them in light of Christ and His Church 

In this open and welcoming setting, you’ll discover how to frame your questions so they draw from the riches of Catholic teaching, and how to “ascend” from the Creed not only with your mind, but with your whole heart. 

The goal is simple -- to help each of us grow as joyful disciples who know how to seek, ask, and keep building a living faith!!

About our facilitator

Bo Bonner is Headmaster of Mother of Good Counsel Preparatory School, host of the Iowa Catholic Radio's Morning Show and co-Host of The UnCommon Good, also on Iowa Catholic Radio.

Bo is also a PhD student in Catholic Studies with the Maryvale Institute at St. Mary’s University, Twickenham London. A philosopher with an emphasis in theological ethics, a poet, and a professor, he is currently researching the resources of the Catholic Intellectual Tradition, especially Catholic Social Teaching, to resist the technocratic paradigm in the digital age. 

On a more personal note, Bo was born and raised in Oklahoma, and has lived in Iowa for nearly a decade. He has taught the Humanities (Philosophy, Theology, and Literature) for 19 years, after converting to Catholicism in Protestant Seminary (Duke Divinity School). He is married to Robyn, and has 5 children.
